mc2 Documentation

This is the documentation page for Mini Compute Cluster. It is intended to provide the minimum amount of information needed for navigating the system. It is assumed that the user is familiarized with supercomputing environments, being able to use standard tools and features of a Linux operating system.

Select the information category from the navigation bar on the left of the page, or use the search box to find what you need.

Changelog

  • (7/06/2025) NEW: Changed how Genoa and Cascadelake software stacks become available. The default behavior is now to make the Cascadelake stack active upon login on the head node, whereas the Genoa software becomes automatically enabled during access to compute nodes (interactive and batch jobs). This spares users from changing MODULEPATH (both on the command line and in batch scripts).
